Natural Vitamin E (in the form of 'd'-alpha-tocopherol) has been shown to have twice the activity of other corresponding synthetic forms of α-tocopherol (dl-alpha-tocopherol) contained in similar Vitamin E preparations on the market. Vitamin E has been recognized by many researchers as one of the most important nutritional antioxidants for humans. Specifically, it is considered the pre-eminent non-polar antioxidant, protecting cell membranes (including bronchial and vascular endothelial cell membranes) and lipoproteins from oxidative decomposition. This is achieved by reducing superoxide radicals, fatty acid radicals and inhibiting lipid peroxidation reactions. Studies also show that it contributes to maintaining heart health, protecting polyunsaturated fatty acids from oxidation and preventing their conversion to unsaturated fatty acids. Vitamin E is also recommended during menopause as well as for maintaining good skin and reproductive health. Tocopherols are a group of fat-soluble chemical compounds of similar chemical structure (homologous compounds) with strong antioxidant properties. They exhibit multiple physiological actions and their intake by the human body in small quantities through food is essential. Collectively, tocopherols are known as vitamin E and are found in vegetable oils and generally in foods of plant origin. Tocopherols are distinguished by the letters of the Greek alphabet: α, β, γ, δ, ε, ζ and η. The most important of these is α-tocopherol (d-alpha-tocopherol), as it is characterized by better absorption and bioavailability and the majority of clinical studies have been conducted in this form. Lamberts VIT-E is produced from sunflower seeds (natural vitamin E) in the form of 'd'-alpha tocopherol which is most closely related to the VIT-E obtained from food. All Lamberts VIT-E are in enteric-coated capsule form to achieve maximum absorption from the intestine with bile secretion.

For orders that do not exceed 3kg of volumetric weight*, the shipping cost is €3.00 when the order is under €50. For orders over this amount, shipping is free!
For orders over 3kg of volumetric weight*, there is an additional charge of €2.30 per extra kilogram.
If the chosen payment method is cash on delivery, there is an additional fee of €2.50.

BOX NOW Shipments up to €150

Shipping costs are calculated as follows:

• €5.80 for a medium locker (dimensions 17x45x62cm, up to 4kg)

• €6.90 for a large locker (dimensions 35x45x62cm, up to 7kg)

For orders over €150, shipping is free.

The parcel remains in the locker for 48 hours, with the possibility to extend for an additional 24 hours upon user request.

Shipping to Cyprus and International Destinations

Orders are shipped via DHL Courier. Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination zone and product weight. You will be notified via email of the final shipping cost.
Prepayment via bank transfer or card is required for order shipment.

Orders marked as “Pickup from store” are available after confirmation, provided all products are in stock. You will receive an SMS notification when your order is ready.
