The first historically recorded reference to the use of the artichoke as a herb dates back to the 4th century BC. It is also known as the Globe Artichoke and belongs to the Asteraceae plant family, which also includes the Milk Thistle. This plant has large purple and green flowers, a characteristic that distinguishes it from the Jerusalem Artichoke, the edible variety of the root vegetable.

Historical reports regarding the traditional use of the herb concern improving the digestion of fatty meals.

The active ingredients of artichoke are found in the leaves of the plant. The most important active ingredient is the chemical cynarin. Lamberts Artichoke is a high-concentration artichoke extract, titrated with 5% cynarin to guarantee 16mg of cynarin per tablet.
Like all Lamberts formulations, it is manufactured in the United Kingdom according to strict Pharmaceutical GMP standards.

If the chosen payment method is cash on delivery, there is an additional fee of €2.50.

Shipping costs are calculated as follows:

• €5.80 for a medium locker (dimensions 17x45x62cm, up to 4kg)

• €6.90 for a large locker (dimensions 35x45x62cm, up to 7kg)

For orders over €150, shipping is free.

The parcel remains in the locker for 48 hours, with the possibility to extend for an additional 24 hours upon user request.

Orders are shipped via DHL Courier. Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination zone and product weight. You will be notified via email of the final shipping cost.
Prepayment via bank transfer or card is required for order shipment.

Orders marked as “Pickup from store” are available after confirmation, provided all products are in stock. You will receive an SMS notification when your order is ready.
