Lactase is an essential digestive enzyme for the breakdown of the main carbohydrate in milk, Lactose. Lactase is produced by the body in the small intestine. In cases of reduced or no lactase production from the small intestine, the undigested lactose is transported to the large intestine where it is fermented. This leads to the production of hydrogen, carbon dioxide and organic acids, resulting in gas production, contraction of the muscles of the intestinal wall and diarrhea. The severity of the clinical manifestations depends on the degree of enzyme deficiency. Lactose intolerance is not life-threatening, but it leads to disturbances in its quality, as avoiding dairy products can result in dietary restrictions. The strength of the enzyme activity is measured in Food Chemical Codex (FCC) units. The Food Chemical Codex is the worldwide standard for determining the activity of plant enzymes. This standard describes the potency of enzyme activity in units (iu), better than the other widely used standard, which uses the weight of the enzymes (measured in mg) to determine enzyme activity. This product is of high potency and can only be compared to similar products from other manufacturers, which include units (iu) and not weight (mg) as the determination of enzyme activity. This product can be used for a long time, contributing to the reduction of symptoms of lactose intolerance.

For orders that do not exceed 3kg of volumetric weight*, the shipping cost is €3.00 when the order is under €50. For orders over this amount, shipping is free!
For orders over 3kg of volumetric weight*, there is an additional charge of €2.30 per extra kilogram.
If the chosen payment method is cash on delivery, there is an additional fee of €2.50.

BOX NOW Shipments up to €150

Shipping costs are calculated as follows:

• €5.80 for a medium locker (dimensions 17x45x62cm, up to 4kg)

• €6.90 for a large locker (dimensions 35x45x62cm, up to 7kg)

For orders over €150, shipping is free.

The parcel remains in the locker for 48 hours, with the possibility to extend for an additional 24 hours upon user request.

Shipping to Cyprus and International Destinations

Orders are shipped via DHL Courier. Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination zone and product weight. You will be notified via email of the final shipping cost.
Prepayment via bank transfer or card is required for order shipment.

In-store Pickup

Orders marked as “Pickup from store” are available after confirmation, provided all products are in stock. You will receive an SMS notification when your order is ready.
