Lambert's Plant Sterols 800mg - Dietary Supplement With Plant Sterols, 60 tablets

Plant sterols are found in vegetable oils and cereals and their consumption contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels*. The mechanism of action of plant sterols in lipid metabolism is as follows: plant sterols have a similar chemical structure to cholesterol, affecting its reabsorption from the intestine. Cholesterol is normally secreted into the intestine via bile to contribute to digestion and is then reabsorbed and enters the bloodstream. Plant sterols compete with cholesterol in its reabsorption from the intestine, resulting in a reduction in its levels even in people following a hypolipidemic diet.

Modern diets are characterized by increasingly low levels of dietary intake of plant sterols, which is why many foods such as margarine are enriched with plant sterols. These enriched foods contribute to increasing daily intake. Despite this, it is difficult to achieve the desired intake, while their increased consumption often leads to a concomitant increase in calorie intake.

Lamberts Plant Sterols tablets provide 800mg of phytosterols and can be added to diets without adding to daily calorie intake. This dose is the same as that used in clinical studies to reduce blood cholesterol. Like all Lamberts products, it is manufactured in the UK to strict Pharmaceutical GMP standards.

How to use

Take 1 tablet daily with a meal or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place and protect from light. Keep out of reach of children.

For orders that do not exceed 3kg of volumetric weight*, the shipping cost is €3.00 when the order is under €50. For orders over this amount, shipping is free!
For orders over 3kg of volumetric weight*, there is an additional charge of €2.30 per extra kilogram.
If the chosen payment method is cash on delivery, there is an additional fee of €2.50.

BOX NOW Shipments up to €150

Shipping costs are calculated as follows:

• €5.80 for a medium locker (dimensions 17x45x62cm, up to 4kg)

• €6.90 for a large locker (dimensions 35x45x62cm, up to 7kg)

For orders over €150, shipping is free.

The parcel remains in the locker for 48 hours, with the possibility to extend for an additional 24 hours upon user request.

Shipping to Cyprus and International Destinations

Orders are shipped via DHL Courier. Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination zone and product weight. You will be notified via email of the final shipping cost.
Prepayment via bank transfer or card is required for order shipment.

In-store Pickup

Orders marked as “Pickup from store” are available after confirmation, provided all products are in stock. You will receive an SMS notification when your order is ready.
