Whole grain milling, a widely used processing method in the UK, removes over 90% of the zinc levels in these foods. This, combined with the new fad to reduce animal protein consumption, is likely to be one of the reasons why 1 in 3 adults in the UK are getting less zinc than recommended. Zinc is an integral part of insulin, the hormone used to treat diabetes, and is essential for all protein synthesis in the body. In cases of increased physical or mental demands on the body, there may be a greater need for zinc or a greater loss of zinc from the body, considering that high-fibre foods prevent the absorption of zinc from food. One fifth of the zinc stored in the body is concentrated in the skin. Zinc also helps in tissue regeneration and participates in some of the enzymatic reactions that are necessary for the normal functioning of the skin's sebaceous glands. It directly affects many organic systems such as the nervous, immune and reproductive systems. It also maintains the proper functioning of senses such as taste and smell.

For orders that do not exceed 3kg of volumetric weight*, the shipping cost is €3.00 when the order is under €50. For orders over this amount, shipping is free!
For orders over 3kg of volumetric weight*, there is an additional charge of €2.30 per extra kilogram.
If the chosen payment method is cash on delivery, there is an additional fee of €2.50.

BOX NOW Shipments up to €150

Shipping costs are calculated as follows:

• €5.80 for a medium locker (dimensions 17x45x62cm, up to 4kg)

• €6.90 for a large locker (dimensions 35x45x62cm, up to 7kg)

For orders over €150, shipping is free.

The parcel remains in the locker for 48 hours, with the possibility to extend for an additional 24 hours upon user request.

Shipping to Cyprus and International Destinations

Orders are shipped via DHL Courier. Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination zone and product weight. You will be notified via email of the final shipping cost.
Prepayment via bank transfer or card is required for order shipment.

In-store Pickup

Orders marked as “Pickup from store” are available after confirmation, provided all products are in stock. You will receive an SMS notification when your order is ready.

Orders remain available at the pharmacy for up to 5 business days, after which they are automatically canceled.
