Macushield Eye Health Supplement Original Formula 30 Softgels are carotenoids produced by the Marigold plant. The formulation combines powerful antioxidants that protect the eye from the harmful effects of free radicals and is specially designed to support the health of the macular hole.

The ingredients of the Macushield Eye Health Supplement product are:

  • Meso-zeaxanthin (10mg)
  • Lutein (10mg)
  • Zeaxanthin (2mg)

The pigment of the macula, which is yellow in color and absorbs harmful blue radiation, comes from these carotenoids which:

  • filter and block blue radiation up to 90%
  • are powerful antioxidants
  • protect the eye by neutralizing free radicals

The pigment of the macula comes from carotenoids that we get from our diet (carrots, fish) such as lutein, zeaxanthin and meso-zeaxanthin. It has a yellow color and absorbs harmful blue radiation. It is believed that the components lutein and zeaxanthin filter and block blue radiation up to 90%. They are also powerful antioxidants and protect the eye by neutralizing free radicals.

Meso-zeaxanthin is the third component of the macula and is located in its center and is formed in the macula by the transformation of lutein. It is not a component of a normal diet but is found in shrimp and various fish such as salmon. It is the most potent of the three components in neutralizing free radicals.

How to use

Shipping with ACS Courier

For orders that do not exceed 3kg of volumetric weight*, the shipping cost is €3.00 when the order is under €50. For orders over this amount, shipping is free!
For orders over 3kg of volumetric weight*, there is an additional charge of €2.30 per extra kilogram.
If the chosen payment method is cash on delivery, there is an additional fee of €2.50.

 

BOX NOW Shipments up to €150

Shipping costs are calculated as follows:

  • €4.30 for a medium locker (dimensions 17x45x62cm, up to 4kg)

  • €6.90 for a large locker (dimensions 35x45x62cm, up to 7kg)

For orders over €150, shipping is free.

    The parcel remains in the locker for 48 hours, with the possibility to extend for an additional 24 hours upon user request.

     

    Shipping to Cyprus and International Destinations

    Orders are shipped via DHL Courier. Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination zone and product weight. You will be notified via email of the final shipping cost.
    Prepayment via bank transfer or card is required for order shipment.

     

    In-store Pickup

    Orders marked as “Pickup from store” are available after confirmation, provided all products are in stock. You will receive an SMS notification when your order is ready.
    Pickup is available at our physical store in Mastampas, Heraklion:

    Monday - Friday: 08:00–21:00
    Saturday: 08:00–20:00

    The order must exceed €15 in value.

    Orders remain available at the pharmacy for up to 5 business days, after which they are automatically canceled.

    If any of the ordered products are not immediately available in our store, the waiting time may be up to 5 business days. You will be notified via email about product availability.
