Statins are one of the most established treatments for the prevention and treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular diseases. However, their use has been associated with the occurrence of adverse effects such as myopathy and the risk of liver damage.
  • Effective liver function is essential for proper gastrointestinal function and overall health. Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is the most common chronic liver disease and is associated with an increased risk of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, regardless of the presence of diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and obesity.
Libytec Pharmaceuticals has developed Q10Stat, an innovative combination containing CoQ10, selenium, choline, artichoke and milk thistle extract, and vitamins C, B1, B6, and B12.

The primary function of CoQ10 is its participation in intracellular energy production. Statins, in addition to reducing cholesterol synthesis, also reduce the synthesis of other substances such as CoQ10 and selenoproteins.

Regardless of this decrease, tissue concentrations of CoQ10 decrease with age and its dietary intake is usually insufficient in pathological conditions.

In clinical practice, the addition of CoQ10 to statin treatment effectively reduces muscle symptoms, while its addition to conventional treatment in patients with chronic heart failure:

  • improves symptoms
  • significantly reduces major adverse cardiovascular events
Another component of Q10Stat is choline, an essential molecule for the synthesis of certain neurotransmitters, cell membranes and lipoproteins. The liver is the main organ responsible for its metabolism. Choline contributes to:

  • in the normal metabolism of homocysteine
  • in normal lipid metabolism
  • in maintaining normal liver function
Choline deficiency can:
  • cause muscle damage and abnormal fat deposition in the liver
  • lead to the development of NAFLD
The synergistic effects of Q10stat are enhanced by the presence of selenium, artichoke and milk thistle extracts, which have hepatoprotective effects and a beneficial effect on non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, as well as vitamins C, B1, B6 & B12, which contribute to protection against atherosclerosis and the normal metabolism of homocysteine.

There is a significant interdependence between CoQ10 and selenium. Selenium deficiency can prevent cells from achieving optimal CoQ10 concentrations, and also, adequate concentrations of CoQ10 must be available for cells to benefit from optimal selenium function.

Artichoke extracts affect lipid metabolism by reducing the endogenous production of cholesterol and triglycerides and enhancing their excretion or redistribution. They also enhance bile production by increasing the amount of bile acids and cholesterol excreted in the bile.

The active ingredients of milk thistle may also have beneficial effects on non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and are able to neutralize the hepatotoxicity of many substances (ethanol, paracetamol, mushroom poisoning) because they have the following effects:

  • as antioxidants by regulating intracellular glutathione content
  • as permeability regulators that prevent hepatotoxic agents from entering hepatocytes
  • as stimulators of liver regeneration
  • as inhibitors of the transformation of hepatocytes into myofibroblasts
Vitamin C is one of the most powerful antioxidant agents and a scavenger of free radicals in biological systems. Diseases such as cardiovascular disorders are associated with its insufficient concentrations. Therefore, an optimal intake of vitamin C may help protect against atherosclerosis and its clinical consequences.

Vitamin B1 contributes to the normal function of the heart. Vitamins B6 and B12 contribute to the normal metabolism of homocysteine ​​and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

In summary, Q10Stat is a unique product with a dual protective effect that can have a positive effect on:

How to use

The recommended dose is 1-2 capsules (1 morning & 1 evening) or as directed by your doctor.
Q10Stat® is not recommended for use in children under 18 years of age.

For orders that do not exceed 3kg of volumetric weight*, the shipping cost is €3.00 when the order is under €50. For orders over this amount, shipping is free!
For orders over 3kg of volumetric weight*, there is an additional charge of €2.30 per extra kilogram.
If the chosen payment method is cash on delivery, there is an additional fee of €2.50.

 

BOX NOW Shipments up to €150

Shipping costs are calculated as follows:

  • €5.80 for a medium locker (dimensions 17x45x62cm, up to 4kg)

  • €6.90 for a large locker (dimensions 35x45x62cm, up to 7kg)

For orders over €150, shipping is free.

    The parcel remains in the locker for 48 hours, with the possibility to extend for an additional 24 hours upon user request.

     

    Shipping to Cyprus and International Destinations

    Orders are shipped via DHL Courier. Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination zone and product weight. You will be notified via email of the final shipping cost.
    Prepayment via bank transfer or card is required for order shipment.

     

    In-store Pickup

    Orders marked as “Pickup from store” are available after confirmation, provided all products are in stock. You will receive an SMS notification when your order is ready.
