Reconval K1 Cream - Protective Cream, 50ml

Reconval K1 cream relieves and protects against painful skin changes (such as serious skin reactions) caused by cancer or immunotherapies.
When using EGFR and VEGFR inhibitors to treat various types of cancer, skin side effects may occur that are particularly noticeable in the form of acne, rashes, redness on the palms of the hands and soles of the feet, changes in nails, hair on the head and body.

Even if these painful skin reactions are temporary in nature, targeted cancer treatments may be delayed.
In some cases, the doctor even reduces the dose administered and thus reduces the chance of successful cancer treatment.
To prevent such scenarios and alleviate skin side effects, prophylactic application of Reconval K1 cream is recommended.
It is also suitable for protecting the skin during immunotherapies with beta interferon for multiple sclerosis.

Side effects of EGFR inhibitors on the skin: Approximately 45% to 100% of patients suffer from toxic-epidermal side effects (the most common reactions include papulosquamous rash, dry skin and itching, inflammation around the nails, hair loss but increased growth of eyelashes and facial hair).

Acne : As a rash present in 80% of all patients and affecting mainly the face, trunk and head, a successful therapeutic outcome of cancer treatment is often associated with the application of Reconval K1 cream.

Multiple sclerosis : Treatment of multiple sclerosis with injectable medications (such as beta-interferons) can cause unwanted side effects at the injection site, causing pain, burning, or redness.
In some cases, skin and tissue necrosis has also been observed.
In such cases, the dose of the drug is usually reduced to prevent these painful side effects.
However, it worsens the effectiveness of the treatment.
With Reconval K1 cream these skin side effects can be relieved.

Dosage : Dosage should be monitored and appropriate dose changes indicated for each patient.
Usage: Shower the skin with lukewarm water and use only mild soap, gently pat your skin dry with a soft towel (natural fibers), on the first day of cancer treatment, prophylactically apply the cream to the face, neck, décolleté or other areas that may already be affected (apply the cream to the skin at least twice a day or several times a day, as needed).

Notes on use : It should be applied as soon as the rash or boils appear, and it should be used after cleansing the skin, while the skin is still moist.

Caution : Avoid contact with eyes or ingestion (external use product), keep out of reach of small children.

Adverse reactions : Do not use the product in patients who are sensitive or allergic to the active ingredients or any of the excipients.

Precautions : Use with caution in patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Interactions with other drugs : There have been no reports of drug interactions with other drugs and foods.

Side effects during use : Adverse effects during clinical use of the cream are very rare, proven safe for users.

Notes : Contact your healthcare provider if you experience any unusual symptoms when using the product.

Overdose and handling : In case of drug overdose, see your doctor immediately for advice and solutions.

Storage : Keep in a cool and shady place, away from places accessible to small children.

For orders that do not exceed 3kg of volumetric weight*, the shipping cost is €3.00 when the order is under €50. For orders over this amount, shipping is free!
For orders over 3kg of volumetric weight*, there is an additional charge of €2.30 per extra kilogram.
If the chosen payment method is cash on delivery, there is an additional fee of €2.50.

Shipping costs are calculated as follows:

• €4.30 for a medium locker (dimensions 17x45x62cm, up to 4kg)

• €6.90 for a large locker (dimensions 35x45x62cm, up to 7kg)

For orders over €150, shipping is free.

The parcel remains in the locker for 48 hours, with the possibility to extend for an additional 24 hours upon user request.

Shipping to Cyprus and International Destinations

Orders are shipped via DHL Courier. Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination zone and product weight. You will be notified via email of the final shipping cost.
Prepayment via bank transfer or card is required for order shipment.

In-store Pickup

Orders marked as “Pickup from store” are available after confirmation, provided all products are in stock. You will receive an SMS notification when your order is ready.
