Sublingual melatonin spray, combined with organic passionflower, for natural and restful sleep. Sublingual administration offers immediate absorption and ease of use. Ideally, it should be taken 15-20 minutes before bedtime.

Melatonin

Melatonin is a hormone produced by the brain, specifically by the pineal gland, and in the gut (where its production seems to be controlled by nutritional factors and especially by the availability of tryptophan, an amino acid precursor of melatonin). Its synthesis and secretion are activated by darkness and deactivated by light, thus helping our body know when it is time to sleep and when to wake up (which is why it is important to sleep in a completely dark bedroom). Melatonin secretion increases when ambient light decreases. When we lived in a natural environment, the increase in melatonin gradually increased with dusk. But now, due to artificial light, we stay in a lit environment until late and fall asleep without having secreted melatonin. This hormone is not only necessary for us to be able to fall asleep, but it is important for having good quality sleep (which is why it is important to sleep in a completely dark bedroom). Melatonin has very strong antioxidant effects and research shows that it helps significantly in preventing cancer. It is produced from the hormone serotonin, which in turn is produced from the amino acid tryptophan, which is a building block of protein foods. Chronic low tryptophan intake or poor digestion and assimilation of proteins, due to low production of hydrochloric acid in the stomach or pancreatic digestive enzymes, can lead to low tryptophan supply and correspondingly low production of serotonin and melatonin. Serotonin deficiency can occur in the elderly, people who work at night and sleep during the day, people who suffer from depression and those who travel across the Atlantic (jet lag).

Passionflower

It exhibits sedative properties and hypnotic action without side effects. This mild sedative action is also useful for treating other nervous system disorders such as hysteria, delirium, nervousness, anxiety and irritability.

Shipping costs are calculated as follows:

• €5.80 for a medium locker (dimensions 17x45x62cm, up to 4kg)

• €6.90 for a large locker (dimensions 35x45x62cm, up to 7kg)

For orders over €150, shipping is free.

The parcel remains in the locker for 48 hours, with the possibility to extend for an additional 24 hours upon user request.

Shipping to Cyprus and International Destinations

Orders are shipped via DHL Courier. Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination zone and product weight. You will be notified via email of the final shipping cost.
Prepayment via bank transfer or card is required for order shipment.

In-store Pickup

Orders marked as “Pickup from store” are available after confirmation, provided all products are in stock. You will receive an SMS notification when your order is ready.
