Contains calcium citrate and lactate.

Most calcium supplements contain either calcium carbonate or calcium citrate. Calcium carbonate is difficult to digest and must be taken with food. Calcium citrate, on the other hand, is more easily digested and can be taken at any time of the day, even on an empty stomach.

This form is also recommended for people who have low levels of stomach acid (hypochlorhydria), the elderly, those taking acid secretion inhibitors (e.g. antacids), or those suffering from inflammatory bowel disorders.

One of the most important causes of reduced compliance in women with chronic treatment is local tolerance. Calcium carbonate can cause more gastrointestinal disturbances, namely bloating, abdominal pain, gas and tenesmus (the urge to defecate), indigestion and constipation. In contrast, calcium citrate does not cause gas formation and is well tolerated.

Calcium lactate is also easily absorbed regardless of food and is also suitable for people with a milk allergy or lactose intolerance.

Another potential concern with chronic calcium administration is the potential for nephrolithiasis. Citrates inhibit crystal formation, reduce stone formation, and are used to treat and prevent kidney stones.

For orders that do not exceed 3kg of volumetric weight*, the shipping cost is €3.00 when the order is under €50. For orders over this amount, shipping is free!
For orders over 3kg of volumetric weight*, there is an additional charge of €2.30 per extra kilogram.
If the chosen payment method is cash on delivery, there is an additional fee of €2.50.

Shipping costs are calculated as follows:

• €5.80 for a medium locker (dimensions 17x45x62cm, up to 4kg)

• €6.90 for a large locker (dimensions 35x45x62cm, up to 7kg)

For orders over €150, shipping is free.

The parcel remains in the locker for 48 hours, with the possibility to extend for an additional 24 hours upon user request.

Shipping to Cyprus and International Destinations

Orders are shipped via DHL Courier. Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination zone and product weight. You will be notified via email of the final shipping cost.
Prepayment via bank transfer or card is required for order shipment.

In-store Pickup

Orders marked as “Pickup from store” are available after confirmation, provided all products are in stock. You will receive an SMS notification when your order is ready.
