Easy to use, reliable and fast, the TOYO "Strep A Test" diagnostic test by Turklab ( a company from Turkey ) is an immunochromatography diagnostic test that immediately and directly detects group "A" streptococci using a pharyngeal swab.
The test analysis is based on bacterial antigen detection and can detect group "A" streptococci which may not grow in cell culture.

Group "A" streptococcus is a bacterium that is often found in the throat and on the skin.
People can carry group A streptococci in their throat or on their skin and have no symptoms of illness.
Most infections can cause serious, even life-threatening illnesses.
These bacteria are transmitted through direct contact with mucus from the nose or throat of infected individuals or through contact with infected wounds or sores on the skin.
Conventional methods used to detect the disease depend on the isolation and subsequent identification of the organism.
These methods often require 24 to 48 hours to complete.
Recent developments in immunological techniques that can detect the antigen of group "A" streptococci directly from throat swabs allow doctors to diagnose and administer treatment immediately.
The Streptococcus "A" diagnostic test is a rapid immunochromatographic assay, suitable for the qualitative detection of group "A" streptococcal antigen in throat swab specimens, to aid in the diagnosis of group "A" streptococcal infection.
The test contains particles coated with antibodies specific for the group "A" streptococcal antigen and antibodies specific for the group "A" streptococcal antigen immobilized on the membrane.

For orders that do not exceed 3kg of volumetric weight*, the shipping cost is €3.00 when the order is under €50. For orders over this amount, shipping is free!
For orders over 3kg of volumetric weight*, there is an additional charge of €2.30 per extra kilogram.
If the chosen payment method is cash on delivery, there is an additional fee of €2.50.

Shipping costs are calculated as follows:

  • €5.80 for a medium locker (dimensions 17x45x62cm, up to 4kg)

  • €6.90 for a large locker (dimensions 35x45x62cm, up to 7kg)

For orders over €150, shipping is free.

    The parcel remains in the locker for 48 hours, with the possibility to extend for an additional 24 hours upon user request.

     

    Shipping to Cyprus and International Destinations

    Orders are shipped via DHL Courier. Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination zone and product weight. You will be notified via email of the final shipping cost.
    Prepayment via bank transfer or card is required for order shipment.

     

    In-store Pickup

    Orders marked as “Pickup from store” are available after confirmation, provided all products are in stock. You will receive an SMS notification when your order is ready.

    The order must exceed €15 in value.

    Orders remain available at the pharmacy for up to 5 business days, after which they are automatically canceled.
